A respected mid-size law firm in Encino, CA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 3-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in defending professionals in liability claims and handling employment and commercial litigation cases. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with a focus on achieving clients' objectives efficiently and effectively. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Duties: Represent clients in litigation matters, including professional liability, employment claims, and commercial litigation. Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Handle discovery, including drafting discovery requests and reviewing responses. Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials. Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and achieve optimal client outcomes. Negotiate and resolve disputes pre-litigation where possible. Provide proactive litigation services when pre-litigation resolution is not feasible. Requirements: Minimum of 3-7 years of litigation experience. Experience in defending professionals in liability claims and handling employment and commercial litigation cases. Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are met. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active license to practice law in California (CA State Bar license required). Skills: Proficient in legal research and drafting. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent academic credentials and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex litigation matters.
