Job Description:Positions Available: Part-Time and Full-TimeCaseload: PreK-12th grade studentsEducational Requirement: Masters degree in Occupational TherapyLicensure Requirement: Active Oregon Occupational Therapist licenseQualifications:Master's in Occupational Therapy: Required from an accredited programOregon State Licensure: Must have an active OT license to practice in OregonSchool-Based Experience: Preferred but not mandatoryIEP Knowledge: Understanding of developing and implementing Individualized Education ProgramsCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting effectively with students, parents, and school staffAdaptability: Ability to tailor therapy techniques to meet diverse student needsTechnology Proficiency: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and digital toolsProfessionalism and Organization: Demonstrated professionalism and strong organizational skillsOregon State Requirements:Criminal Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check through the Oregon State Police and the FBIFingerprinting: Mandatory for all school-based personnel in OregonContinuing Education: Adherence to Oregons continuing education requirements for OT license renewalChild Abuse Reporting Training: Required training on identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect, in line with Oregon state lawsOregon OT License Renewal: OTs must meet the states requirements for ongoing professional development and license renewalPay & Benefits:Compensation: Highly competitive hourly ratesClassification: 1099 independent contractor with weekly payAdditional Perks: Access to teletherapy resources and ongoing professional supportInterview Process:Initial Screening: A brief 10-15 minute call with a VocoVision RecruiterVirtual Interview: A 20-30 minute session with the School DistrictDecision Timeline: Offers typically extended within 24-48 hours after the virtual interview
