Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and skilled Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services in school districts nationwide. As a Travel OT, you will assess and treat students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that impact their ability to participate fully in the school environment. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans that promote students independence and success.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the IEP team.Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' needs within the classroom and school environment.Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to develop and review therapy goals.Document and track student progress, providing updates to the school team and parents.Educate teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation and success.Adapt and modify classroom activities to help students achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in a school-based setting.Knowledge of federal and state regulations for school-based therapy services (e.g., IDEA, IEP development).Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.Ability to travel and adapt to different school environments.Collaborative team player who can work closely with educators, families, and school staff.
