Job Description:As a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will work in school districts to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication disorders. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans that help students achieve their communication goals and thrive in the classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with speech, language, and communication disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, goals, and objectives for students.Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to address speech and language needs.Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress and communication goals.Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to develop and review student goals.Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and services provided.Provide training and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies to support students with communication challenges in the classroom.Stay up to date on best practices and research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or CFY candidates with strong clinical experience).Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and IEP development.Ability to travel and work in various school settings.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
