ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team onsite in Landover, Maryland!Our therapistwork collaboratively with educators, administrators, and other vital school professionals. Job Description:
Assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to identify barriers to learning.Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.Provide direct intervention services to students, including therapeutic activities and exercises.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that support students' academic and social success.Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Advocate for students' needs within the school environment and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.Offer guidance and training to school staff on best practices for supporting students with sensory and motor challenges.Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.A more detailed job description will be provided directly from the school upon a virtual interview.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred.Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, not necessary

(10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter(20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the schoolOffer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview
