High School English Pull in/ Push out teacher Needed

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our high school team near South Holland,Illinois. This position will focus on supporting students in English through a pull-in/push-out model. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive environment and providing tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction in English for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in both pull-in (general education) and push-out (specialized instruction) settings. Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and growth. Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress. Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education Endorsement. Experience working with high school students, particularly in English language arts. Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a flexible schedule in a dynamic teaching environment.
