Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach/Community Engagement professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships and creating positive change within our community. This role is responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs, engaging with community members, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and collaboratively with our team to promote our mission and values.DutiesDevelop and implement outreach programs to engage with community members and promote our organization's mission and services.Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.Conduct outreach activities, such as community events, presentations, and door-to-door canvassing, to educate the community about our organization's programs and services.Collaborate with program development teams to develop new programs and services that meet the needs of our community.Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of our outreach programs and identify areas for improvement.Supervise and mentor volunteers and staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out outreach activities effectively.Assist with fundraising efforts to support the development and implementation of our outreach programs.Provide addiction counseling and support services to community members in need.Manage and coordinate volunteer efforts to support outreach programs and events.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in social work, non-profit management, or a related field.Experience in project management and leadership roles.Proven experience in developing and implementing outreach programs and community engagement strategies.Strong skills in education, including the ability to educate community members about our organization's programs and services.Excellent fundraising and grant writing skills.Experience in supervising and mentoring staff members and volunteers.Certification in addiction counseling or a related field.Experience in managing and coordinating volunteer efforts.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of outreach programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.A commitment to promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect within our community.Job Type:
