SYSCOM's client is seeking a Senior Java Programmer to work on the Integration Layer and provide technical support to the Shared Services and Enterprise Architecture (SSEA) Division as well as enhance/assure future Integration layer work related to the state Eligibility Technology System is seamless. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of and production maintenance support to the state Eligibility Technology System or any other project under the Enterprise Service Bus and Electronic Data Interchange (ESB & EDI) team. The successful Developer/Programmer must be able to provide diagnostic analysis of the Eligibility Technology System as issues are reported. Diagnostic analysis includes changes required due to system modifications or newly introduced code from adjoining systems. We expect the resources, upon request, to analyze a reported issue, offer solutions, and to help troubleshoot as well as provide root cause analysis. Our client is committed to providing technology solutions that are reliable and flexible enough to meet fluctuating customer demand and increasing expectation of 24 hours per day, 7 days per week system availability, all while decreasing on-going support expenses.

Work Location: The work is currently expected to be performed remotely, supporting normal business hours (8am - 5pm) for the Central Time Zone.Duration: 1 year with possible extension

Minimum Qualifications - MUST MEET ALL

Seven (7) years' experience in Java Programming/Development role

A Bachelor's degree (4 year) substitutes for seven (7) years, or an Associate's degree (2 year) substitutes for two years' experience.

Four (4) years' experience working with state government health insurance systems on its' insurance benefit enrollmentsFive (5) years' experience developing in Java using Spring MVCTwo (2) years' IBM integration Bus (IIB) experienceOne (1) year IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise) experienceDesired Skills
