This position is instrumental to translating the company culture into physical environments where our talented employees can creatively operate to their fullest potential.This individual will oversee a department of 14 employees responsible for facilitating a smooth campus employee experience, construction, maintenance, and real estate for our main office in San Jose, CA and multiple US field offices.The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who is highly collaborative with a strategic mindset able to work effectively across all business groups and has the ability to thrive in a sometimes ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment.Location: Onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 5 days a week.Job ID: 42288Manage the strategic growth of the organization through large scale capital projects while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the facilities and constructions projects.Prepare annual capital expenditure plans to address business growth and cultural improvements. Operate within annual budget parameters.Cultivates strong working relationships within the team and with other key stakeholders such as HR, IT, EH&S, Finance, Security and others.Seek innovative solutions for campus events and socializing.Oversee construction projects ensuring sensible scope, timetable, quality, and cost.Manage key vendor relationships to ensure high quality deliverables.A key element in this role is the cultural sensitivity, communication, and collaboration with international offices and personnel in Korea.Maintain operating budgets and partner closely with Finance on capital expenditures.Responsible for maintenance, construction, real estate, and corporate in-office experiences for our main office in San Jose and across multiple US field offices.Serve as a visible leadership figure for the department. Provide the direction, set priorities, and actively coach and develop staff to meet organization goals.Champion a customer service mindset and focus on optimal work environments.Present reports and plans regularly to senior leadership team members.Plan and execute special events and campus improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local municipal laws, regulations, rules, directives, and best practices.What You BringBachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience and at least 10 years in a people management capacity.Proven track record of managing large capital expenditure budgets.Experience with both real estate management and campus service offerings.Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Advanced project management skills with the demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects on time/on budget with competing priorities.Proven ability to manage vendor and partner relationships.Experience working with a large multi-national firm and with a culturally diverse management team.Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to maximize the talents of team members.Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.Effective communicator able to break down complex information into easy to understand key messages.Passionate about continuous improvement and implementing best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Working knowledge of trades.Some travel to US offices required.Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or a related program.15+ Years in Facilities Management including high technology labs, open workspace, and cafeterias.You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.You’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.What We OfferThe pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
