The Sales Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and finance departments as well as executive management by providing financial insights, forecasting, and analysis that drives strategic decision-making.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Finance Analyst to join our team. The Sales Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and finance departments as well as executive management by providing financial insights, forecasting, and analysis that drives strategic decision-making.
The Sales Finance Analyst will be responsible for the development of methodologies for accurate tracking of sales expenses, ROI's and customer deductions. Must be able to manage multiple tasks within tight timelines and work collaboratively across departments.
Specific Job Duties:
- Develop methodologies for tracking sales expenses, ROI's and customer deductions.
- Incorporating quantitative and qualitative data including sales history, sales marketing, customer guidance.
- Establish the forecasting cycle that best fits the needs of the company.
- Maintaining the interdepartmental channels of communication for purposes of improving sales finance data.
- Obtaining sign off from effective stakeholders where appropriate.
- Analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, margins and costs, to identify trends and variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present findings to sales and finance teams.
- Develop financial models to support pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and sales incentive programs.
- Compile sales data for executive management team review.
- Analyze historical versus market trends.
- Collaborate with marketing department to align spending and adjust the SKU forecasts.
- Monitor actual sales performance against forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and databases to ensure accurate and timely data for analysis.
- Work with IT and other departments to automate reporting processes and enhance data integrity.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as required by executive management to support business decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide context for sales and financial data.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Logistics or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial principles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft programs and business intelligence software (high knowledge of Excel spreadsheet processing required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical, process oriented, and ability to focus on details for long periods of time.
- Able to effectively present findings verbally
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to sit and use the computer and telephone for an 8-hour workday.
- Follow all department and company policies and procedures.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NAV, SAP, Oracle) and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
- This is an on-site position.
Skills and/or Training Desired:
- Experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience in ERP systems
- Minimum 40wpm typing speed and 8,000 KPH 10-key required.
- Well organized and ability to work under timelines and constraints.
