This position is for an experienced Contract Specialist (LTA Focal) role to join a growing aerospace team with L&T Technology Services (LTTS). As an important part of the Supply Chain team here at LTTS, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by helping to ensure customer expectations are met.
This is a position located at the LTTS Windsor site, at times the client's site in Windsor Locks, CT, and possible at times work from home.
The Contract Specialist LTA Focal is responsible for providing for collecting data, managing standards and SAP LTA implementations. This includes driving value through advanced data analysis, stakeholder coordination, utilization of integrated system tools, and relationship building with global suppliers.

The Contract Specialist LTA Focal is responsible for providing for collecting data, managing standards and SAP LTA implementations. This includes driving value through advanced data analysis, stakeholder coordination, utilization of integrated system tools, and relationship building with global suppliers.
Core responsibilities include:
- Leading data-driven contract management practices to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Managing cross-functional teams through complex RFP processes
- Implementing change management strategies across business units
- Building and sustaining win-win partnerships with suppliers
- Ensuring adherence to exacting aerospace quality standards and cost targets
- Conduct day-to-day contract administration
- Negotiate and manage long term agreements adhering to company policies
- Analyze terms and conditions, interpret requirements
- Ensure contract compliance
- Prepare teaming agreements and contractual documents
- Support management reviews and program reviews
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline
- 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management
- Expertise analyzing contracts and managing negotiations
- Data analysis, modeling, and benchmarking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High degree of ethics, integrity, and attention to detail
- SAP Experience is a must
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Must be a US Citizen/US Person
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma trained, Green Belt or Black Belt
- 3-5 years of experience within aerospace industry
- Prior experience optimizing LTAs or outsourcing contracts
- Change management expertise
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Experience with different contract types
- An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision
