The OAG is seeking talented individuals to help revolutionize the way our Child Support Division manages workflows and delivers value. The ideal candidate will help with the development of software solutions for our Document Generation project by working new and existing testing efforts, investigating problem areas, conferring with users, and determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of our agency systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.Design and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures to thoroughly evaluate application functionality, performance, usability, and security.Conduct system and integration testing to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation across various platforms.Document test results, track defects, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution and retesting.Participate in the design and implementation of manual and automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and test coverage.Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:Candidates that do not meet or exceed the

minimum

stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Proven experience in software testing, preferably within an application development environment. 8 Required Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools. 8 Required Solid understanding of system architecture, databases, and operating systems. 8 Required Proficiency in using testing tools, such as Selenium, VuGen, JUnit, or similar frameworks. 8 Required Excellent problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. 8 Required Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross- functional teams. 8 Required Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 5 Required Experience with Agile development methodologies 4 Preferred Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 4 Preferred Relevant work experience conducting performance testing. 1 Preferred Familiarity with Salesforce platform and Conga Composer.III. TERMS OF SERVICE

and are expected to complete by

08/31/2024 . Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed

hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION

Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the

Office of the Attorney General of Texas . Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM , excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.

The primary work location(s) will be at

OAG State Office located at 5500 E. Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78741. Teleworking is currently allowed for this contract position with management approval. . Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense.

Office of the Attorney General of Texas

will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts.

The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through
