IT Specialist

We are looking for a specialist IT motivated to help in the information and technology operation of our organization with growth opportunities. IT specialist responsibilities Install and configure software and hardware components of computer and network systems. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot system and network issues. Perform diagnostic tests and maintenance procedures. Manage data backup and system security operations (e.g., user authorization, firewalls). Update technical documentation to reflect changes in system configurations and settings. IT specialist qualifications Proven experience as an IT specialist or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and appropriate software applications. Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields. 1 to 5 Years of experience. IT specialist skills Expertise in data management and data security. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Expertise in managing multiple tasks. Attention to detail and precision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Resident of Santa Cruz County. Be familiar with Windows, Linux VM Infrastructure IP Phones Putty Access Point and Network Switches.
