The Cloud Integration Developer at KnowBe4 is responsible for designing, maintaining, documenting, and troubleshooting custom developed solutions for internal use. The ideal candidate will learn and understand the standard KnowBe4 systems and will help develop addons, enhancements and integrations between these systems.
Responsibilities:Build, maintain and improve internal toolsets and applicationsAssist in defining, developing and improving platform services and integrationAssist with finding deficiencies in current systems and toolsets and develop custom tools to resolve the deficienciesIdentify new technologies, tools and applications to improve company processes, workflows and proceduresWork with SREs and Data Engineers to collaborate on solutions that satisfy business objectives and meet the needs of stakeholdersBuild and maintain applications and middleware as well as implement continual improvements on performance and securityBuild, maintain and improve general low code/no code solutions to create workflows within several systems in their native workflow builders.Employ industry best practices in architecture, design and distribution for customized applications and toolsMinimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work-related experience with a minimum of 5 years hand-on technical experience in a similar capacity3+ years experience in software development2+ years experience in tools and custom application development2+ years experience in API developmentExperience with infrastructure in a cloud environment and development toolsDevelopment/containerization experience with common languages such as Python, Java, and Go.Experience working with complex systems in AWS preferredBasic understanding of modern web application architecture, HTTP(S), TCP/UDP, SAML, CICD, Git, etc.Excellent command of one or more programming or scripting languages such as bash, PowerShell, C#, Java, Python, Node.js, typescript, or C++Ability to quickly grasp new programming or scripting languages (such as Go, Python, and Ruby) and technologiesAn eagerness to work with the latest technologies and expand your skill setWorking knowledge of core AWS services for completing automations: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBus, SQS, KinesisWorking knowledge of database solutions to store data, such as RDS managed Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.Working knowledge of AWS best practices (security, reliability, efficiency, etc) via the AWS Well-Architected FrameworkCreativity, self motivation, and acute attention to detailAWS certifications a plusITIL certification a plus
