Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic

Legal Intake Specialist

with experience in consumer protection and debt law. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in onboarding new clients, collecting necessary documentation, and facilitating payment processes. This role requires active listening skills, a high level of emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage a high volume of client interactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding:

Handle inbound and outbound calls from pre-qualified leads.

Conduct thorough interviews to gather detailed information.

Guide clients through paperwork and payment processing.

Information Management:

Accurately enter client information into the case management system.

Collect and organize all necessary documents.

Communication:

Provide clear and compassionate communication.

Address client questions regarding their cases.

Collaboration:

Work closely with attorneys and paralegals.

Participate in team meetings to improve intake procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Required:

Experience as a legal intake specialist in consumer protection/debt law.

Familiarity with federal and state consumer protection laws (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA, TILA).

Experience managing a high volume of calls.

Skills:

Strong active listening and communication skills.

Proficient with case management software.

Excellent organizational abilities.
