The Technical Business Analyst - Product Quality focuses on enhancingproduct quality and developer experience by analyzing key metrics and performance indicators. This role involves reporting on engineering performance, delivery metrics, and capacity management to support continuous improvement and ensure high-quality product delivery.
The ideal candidate is someone who is able to blend a mix of technical expertise,analytical skills, and project management experience to effectively drive initiatives that enhance project outcomes and overall organizational efficiency. This role requires a high level of cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across teams to deliver on high-level initiatives and reach company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Developer Experience:
Monitor and analyze developer experience metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall productivity and satisfaction.Engineering Performance Reporting:
Track and report on engineering performance metrics, such as DORA metrics, to assess development efficiency and identify areas for improvement.Delivery Performance:
Use tools and insights (e.g., LinearB) to report on delivery performance, analyzing team throughput and identifying bottlenecks in the delivery process.Capacity and Allocation:
Provide insights into team capacity and allocation, using frameworks from the Technical Project Manager to ensure effective resource utilization.Quality Metrics Analysis:
Track and report on delivery metrics and other quality indicators to support continuous improvement and ensure high standards of product delivery.Key Deliverables:
Developer Experience Reports:
Detailed reports on developer experience metrics and actionable recommendations for improvement.Engineering Performance Insights:
Regular reporting on engineering performance metrics, including analysis and recommendations for enhancing efficiency.Delivery Performance Analysis:
Insights into delivery performance using tools such as LinearB, with recommendations for improving team throughput and process efficiency.Capacity and Allocation Reports:
Analysis of team capacity and allocation, with recommendations for optimizing resource use.Quality Metrics Reporting:
Comprehensive reports on delivery metrics and quality indicators, supporting continuous improvement and high-quality product delivery.Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in tools such as SLQ, Excel, or analytics platforms (e.g, Tableau, Power BI) for performance measurement and reporting.Familiarity with various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and how they impact delivery.Experience in defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs to measure project and team performance.Knowledge of industry standards and practices for performance assessment.Strong analytical skills to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Ability to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.Experience in Agile practices and working in cross-functional teams to enhance delivery effectiveness.Skilled in eliciting and documenting business requirements to align with performance objectives.Ability to communicate insights and performance metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and facilitate discussions between various teams.Several years of experience in business analysis, project management, or performance improvement roles.Involvement in projects focused on improving operational performance or delivering technical solutions.Relevant certifications in business analysis (CBAP), project management (PMP), or specific performance improvement methodologies can enhance credibility.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g, CBAP, PMP, or Agile certifications) can be advantageous.Additional Information

Base Salary: $115,000 to $135,000 + 10% BonusBenefits:
