Adobe Campaign expert (v7)Need Unica and Oracle on Prem exposureMarketing Campaign design and implementation experience
Need:
6 month contract
Adobe campaign classic v7 (cloud-based)
Don't need CDP, AEP, adobe analytics
Adobe Campaign Developer cusp Architect (more so a user/developer but understands enough about how adobe evaluates workflows and how best to configure/organize the customer contact so they're mindful of space) - they don't need to know ox-code, product ID, etc. need to know "what are we trying to do and how do we do it" keep having repeated challenges - looking to cutover from Unica to Adobe fully in December
Pure adobe campaign expert - 100% familiar with campaign workflow(s), activity boxes, importing lists, data schemas
Overview:
This team takes data from oracle (on-prem) and ensures its in appropriate state for ingestion within adobe
Import and export workflows - setting these up - to get data in and out of adobe cloud
Export workflow would be a flat file
They share this instance of Adobe with Enterprise Analytics and AI (EAA) team - they're moving off the platform
Many of the users of adobe are used to setting up campaigns within the tool currently but hoping to use it as a vehicle to send to email service provider (ESP) - need to organize the data within the cloud first
Worked w cognizant on implementation and they set up the prod envio, users, recipient data, some workflows but weren't experts in the data so some of the flowcharts they created have inclusions and exclusions that were reversed - turning on Adobe Safe envio -
this person will need to put better controls, understanding workflows, making improvements on how they are designing workflows
Current envio:
SaaS shop
IBM Unica shop - working to sunset this
Oracle/SQL on prem shop
Recently moved to Adobe and learning as they go - not a lift and shift
Background:
Some exposure to Unica
Some exposure to Oracle
Marketing campaign design
Evaluating of requirements for best architecture/design for execution (not gathering the requirements themselves)
Logistics:
Open to time zone
Notes:
Adobe Campaign Classic - pure Adobe Classic expert
Needs to know campaigns work flows, data schemas etc.
Current process:
Take on prem data in Oracle and ensuring it is correct state for ingestion in adobe
Set up Import and export workflows (not working correctly or efficiently now)
Export from adobe cloud to re ingest as flat file for downstream production jobs
This team shares an instance with EAA - Corporate Marketing - Steven's team uses it very differently
Most users used to setting up contacts in tool and send and delivery directly - hope to do this later, but they have existing processes they need to merge with - outbound files to mail / other shop
Version is V.7 (difference between 7 and 8 is big)
8 has a managed cloud opp and bigger footprint of space
Since they are on 7 and share the instance - constant conversation about space usage - they really don't know much about the tool, and need help maximizing efficiency
SAS / Oracle / Natezza - old stack (these tools goot at pointing to different databases, Adobe is not
Unica is close to sunset, but not quite there
This is not a lift and shift - Adobe needs data in a ready state to be used
They do want cross channel utilization in Adobe
Need is an Adobe Campaign developer / Architect - very Campaign specific with Classic v.7 in-depth knowledge
More of a developer but very familiar with marketing
Know what they are trying to do and do it in this tool - get them going on this tool. Wanted to have the cut over from Unica to Adobe in December, but they are behind. Hitting challenges because Steven's team uses the tool differently.
Organize how they use the tool
Cognizant and Adobe set up the tool - but they were not experts in the data (ex. Have inclusions and exclusions reversed) Turning on Adobe in a safe environment, when they turn on the flow charts to their 62 email campaigns and compare to existing in Unica... it is all over the place. Need better controls, understanding the work flows, improve how they are using the work flows all have larger effects than they expected. Not able to get any ROI if they cannot drive loyalty
More Dev. than architect / but need to understand how Adobe evaluates work flows and how best to configure or organize the contacts so they are mindful of space. Don't want messy work flows to use too much space.
***Next year moving to 8
Mindful of the expense of each workflow
Need Unica and Oracle on Prem exposure
Marketing Campaign design and implementation
Technical Consultant - will not do the requirements gathering, will review them and help design the best way to execute them
Don't need AEP or Adobe Analytics experts, just Campaign
