Responsibilities:

Peraton seeks a data loading engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for a team of 12 data loaders and data managers. The team provides full lifecycle data management for digital media collections received in all manner of digital media forms/formats from customer field locations. As the data loading engineer, you will develop technical processes that automate and streamline aspects of manual, error-prone processes. You will serve as the go-to technical resource for teammates requiring assistance processing unique and challenging media. Duties include creating scripts in Python and PowerShell for any and all aspects of the teams work. You will use various tools and software to effectively process media with various filesystems and operating systems ensuring that every byte of information is exploited to downstream tools. You may avail yourself of opportunities to cross-train with the digital feeds and digital transformation teams should you have the talent and drive to do so.Qualifications:Required

8 years of experience with a BS Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or technology field, or MS degree with 6 years of experience; in lieu of degree, 5 additional years of experience performing lifecycle data management work.Minimum of 5 years of experience performing relevant lifecycle data management work.Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels of technical competence.Experience with a scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.Demonstrated experience applying innovation to improve manual processes.Active TS/SCI with poly clearance.Desired
