Established in 1949, the Kurita Group is comprised of an international network of approximately 8000 employees located in 18 countries.Located in Minneapolis, MN, Kurita America brings innovations to market through a holistic water management approach, incorporating state-of-the art equipment, chemistries, engineering, and services to conserve natural resources for a better, more sustainable world.Kuritas corporate philosophy is to study the properties of water, master them and create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmonyThe Electrical Inspector will perform electrical in-process, final, and pre shipment inspection of products at supplier sites and in-housemanufacturing, write inspection reports and nonconforming material reports, and submit daily reports to quality manager.The frequency of travel will vary.Job Title: Electrical InspectorLocation: Brooklyn Park, MNComp: $50/hourResponsibilities:Inspecting electrical wiring systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), cables, Remote input Output cabinet, loop testing, etc. Knowledge of electrical drawings and schematics.Enforcing codes and standards (Electrical codes NEC version 2023 and UL 508A),Maintaining inspection records.Planning and conducting surveillance inspections in accordance with scheduling requirements.Responsible for performing on-site inspections at manufacturing facilities to ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with established standards and specifications.Document manufacturer's production and quality processes; review required production tests, including methods, equipment used and calibration of equipment. Drawings will be provided by Kurita.Document non-compliances found during the inspection and submit reports.Qualifications:
Associate degree, diploma, or similar experience as an electrician5-7 years experience as an electricianLicensed electricianKnowledge of Electrical codes NEC version 2023 and UL 508AKnowledge of electrical inspection equipment and computer skillsEEO/AA/F/M/Vet/Disabled
