w hiring a Supply Chain CoordinatorWe are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for who is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, able to utilize inventory control technology/systems, and has excellent communication skills. This position is accountable for managing supplies and equipment to include receiving of goods, supply ordering and replenishment, and small equipment management. This individual is expected to maintain communication with supported customers, maintain stock levels, and monitor supply usage. Supply chain coordinators are expected to work alone or in a team environment and may be required to manage multiple inventory locations. Requisitions supplies for assigned areas via ERP system or handheld technologyDelivers products and equipment to appropriate locationsPerforms complete inventory checks of all assigned stock and suppliesMaintains and coordinates PAR levels to include; recommending par level changes, standardizing products where appropriate, updating labels for scanning.Assists in evaluation of supplies, services, and equipment usage trends and recommends system updates and operational process improvementsIssues supplies accurately and timely from warehouse to department via the ERP systemEnsures all documentation in ERP system is accurate and processed correctlyRestocks crash carts and specialty carts in a timely and accurate manner.Assists with processing returned supplies from departments via the ERP systemRemoves, tabulates and disposes of obsolete or outdated products per PHS procedure.Troubleshoots and addresses backorders and stock outs.Assists in activities for inventory organization such as supply shelving, creating/updating par area or order templates, and bin labelsPerforms activities that meet KPI standards (ex: departmental fill rates)Conducts cycle counts, and annual physical inventory prep, organization and countingActively supports back-orders, stock-outs, substitutes, trials, conversions, and recallsSupports ongoing physical inventory of moveable medical equipment and identifies discrepancies.Optimizes movable equipment inventory and workflow supporting clinical operationsRotates and/or delivers small equipment as neededCleans and maintains charging of moveable medical equipmentInspects packages from delivery trucks. Refuses damaged packages, signs for packages/shipments, and organizes received shipments for proper staging and verification.Accurately receives product from into ERP system: Matches packages and receipt documentation to Purchase Orders for correct items and quantities, records in ERP and notes discrepancies, initiates resolution processStages packages and shipments for internal delivery according to designated routes and schedulesOrganizes, packs, and ships returns; ensures all appropriate accounting and tracking documentation is completed and recorded/filed appropriately.Manages will-call pick up of received packages, and supports stat delivery of packages to requesting departments, as neededReceives capital equipment/assets delivered to dock, manages storage and staging, communicates to appropriate departments for inspection and check-in, conducts asset tagging and data entry; and supports safe delivery/transportation to requesting department.Responsible for proper use, maintenance/upkeep, and charging of all receiving and distribution equipment, e.g., pallet jacks, dock levelers, delivery carts, computers, label equipment, etc.Participates in Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in inventory processesSupports optimization of department technologies to better perform tasks and to improve services and outcomesParticipates in and supports Supply Chains emergency/disaster preparedness and response and support PHS Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) effortsEnsures compliance with Supply Chain Policies and Procedures to maintain high-level of customer satisfactionAttends and participate in supply chain and department area meetings and committees; stay abreast of process changes and technology innovationsFollow and maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives and quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental and infection control standardsExecutes initiatives and tactics effectively and efficiently, monitors and reports progress, and elevates issues and concerns in a timely manner.Ensure 100% compliance with all Federal and State healthcare regulations, TJC standards, and PHS Policies and Procedures.Other tasks as assigned.May be assigned to specific job duties due to volume with the ability to provide all supply chain functions as needed.
