SUMMARYPosition is responsible for operating a 12 passenger wheelchair accessible van.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSafely transporting veterans and their caretakers from points in Montgomery County to and from VA Medical Centers.Logging mileage, fuel consumption, and basic administrative tasks related to vehicle operation.Attend training as needed.Assist with various tasks, as may be assigned by the Director.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Current PA Driver's License with clean driving record.High School graduate of equivalent.Honorably discharged from a branch of the U.S. armed forces.Knowledge of Montgomery County, Philadelphia, Chester County roadways.Knowledge of VA Healthcare programs preferred.Ability to work autonomously and exercise good judgement.Applicants subject to random drug testing/urinalysis.
