Primary Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and support all technical phases of instructional applications such as Learning Management System (LMS) and digital resources. Investigate and evaluate existing and emerging technologies, consult with outside vendors in resolving complex modifications to vendor systems, and coordinate?and perform?acceptance testing for upgrades to applications.
1.Gather functional requirements and translate into technical requirements to ensure success of various application projects.
2 Investigate and report on data transactions between various instructional applications.
3. Maintain an awareness of emerging technology regarding standards and best practices to support division and district-wide mission.
4. Provide analysis and support for various instructional applications, Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Object Repository (LOR), digital textbooks and other instructional resources.
5. Ensure effective user, intra-departmental, and vendor relations.
6. Maintain a high degree of functional competency for all supported applications, including our Learning Management System (LMS), 1 EdTech Standards, and SQL server reporting service (SSRS).
7. Maintain a working understanding of the customers' departmental functions and school processes, and how these relate to the supported applications.
8. Maintain documentation as needed for multiple projects.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
