We're looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining our high standards by supporting product quality efforts. As the go-to person for quality-related topics on your shift, you'll work closely with the operations team to tackle any issues that arise. You'll be involved in audits, data collection, and assisting our Quality and Process Engineers, all while helping our manufacturing team reach important goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
salary: $16.5 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High School
Responsibilities
Assist with inspections of incoming and in-process parts, ensuring accurate documentation within the Quality Inspection System.Operate a variety of gauges, tools, and measuring instruments to support inspections, including gathering precise measurements for component blueprints.Assess non-conforming materials or products that don't meet specifications and help direct them to the appropriate areas for further evaluation.Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization
The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 25lbsstanding for 10 hours at one timeworking up to 10 hrs of overtime per weekworking weekends
