As a Training Specialist at AMERICAN, you will play a crucial role in training our workforce for excellence in safety, quality and productivity. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training & Development Specialist to develop and implement structured training processes that emphasize safe and repeatable practices for our manufacturing processes. You will lead training efforts, working with departments to document and create instructional content.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Engineering, Instructional Design, or a related field from an accredited institution. Proof of degree required (transcript or diploma acceptable). Alternatively, a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in training and development within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Demonstrated ability to coach and train others, influence and motivate, and exhibit creativity and problem-solving skills.Ability to be a self-starter, make independent decisions, and work with minimal guidance.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize workload under stress.Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.Ability to adapt work schedule based on training and manufacturing needs.Must exhibit prior experience in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.Must exhibit a high school degree or equivalency (GED).Must exhibit a valid state issued driver's license.Ideal Candidate:

Facilitate effective training classes, utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS).Relationship Management:

Maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.Education/Certifications:
