We are headquartered in Austin, Texas, with a diverse global team of remote employees. Our mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions that empower organizations to secure their networks and data effectively. Portnox is headquartered in Austin, Texas and we have a global set of remote employees as well. This role can primarily be remote, but we are seeking candidates in the Austin-area as we get together from time to time.

Role Overview: As an Onboarding Engineer at Portnox, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the onboarding process. You will be responsible for educating users about our product, troubleshooting initial issues, and providing hands-on support to ensure they maximize the value of our solutions. Your technical expertise and excellent communication skills will be vital in helping clients become proficient and confident in using our product.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.Training and Support:

Develop and deliver engaging training sessions, webinars, and documentation that cater to diverse learning styles.Technical Assistance:

Assist clients with the technical aspects of product implementation, including setup, configuration, and integration with existing systems.Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve any issues clients encounter during onboarding, collaborating with internal teams as necessary.Feedback Loop:

Gather client feedback to continuously improve the onboarding process and share insights with product and engineering teams.Best Practices:

Provide clients with best practices and tips to enhance their usage of our product, fostering long-term success.Documentation:

Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation and resources to support client learning.Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).3-5 years of experience in customer onboarding, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and architectures.Knowledge of networking, security, and firewalls.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.Proficiency in presenting and delivering product demonstrations.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Azure AD, OKTA, Google Workspace, Intune, Jamf, or Kandji.CCST Certified.CCNA Certified.Why Join Us
