We are seeking an Acquisition Specialist (Procurement) Analyst to support our team in Patuxent River, Maryland. Responsibilities: Functional Description: Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documentation (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA). Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards. Responsibilities include: Work with PMT and CSPT

Provide PPC support along with general acquisition support

Knowledge and experience with AMS to hit the ground running

Support the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)

Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements

Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards

Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Education:

A bachelors degree or allowable substitutions are required for this position. Allowable substitutions include an associate degree plus two (2) years of additional work experience; or four (4) years of additional work experience, performing duties described in the functional description. Experience:

Three to ten years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
