Daikin Applied is seeking a short term temporary to hire

Digital Product Owner.

This role will be responsible for products or platforms delivering digitized solutions as a service in the Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) Organization, with a specific focus on the Logistics, Quality and EHS functions. The product owner will own the business strategy behind a product or feature and establish a vision for the product to improve identified opportunities within the assigned function through an iterative approach. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify industry best practices to develop a product roadmap and prioritize with specific scope to build and deliver features and improve processes. What you will do:Provide strategic ownership of the data systems and processes supporting the QCD, specifically, focused on the Logistics, Quality and EHS functions with the intent to evaluate and recommend analytical solutions to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and leverage progressive technologies to drive synergies across the organization.Provide full-cycle project management of cross-functional teams to implement system improvements including developing documentation of all processes and delivering training, as needed.Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scopes, system goals, and requirements, track project milestones.Partner with IT department to represent the systems needs of the Integrated Supply Chain and implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performanceGather data, assess trends, identify gaps, use imperfect data to draw reasonable conclusions, and assemble a set of recommendations supported by numerical facts to develop a business case to garner executive support and provide ongoing communication to key business leadersDevelop detailed spend and category analyses to identify areas of opportunity within a diverse set of spend categoriesQuantify the financial and operational impacts of the identified opportunities and build a business case to justify the investment in proceeding with the project.Analyze market trends in the different sector indices to analyze strategic planning for long-range stability of cost and servicesWhat's in it for you:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems , Supply Chain, Economics or similar field of studyFive years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Quality and proficient in Information SystemsExperience working with in Oracle/SAP Logistics, WMS, order management, quality systems, or similar, including configuring and optimizing processes within an ERP/SAP/Cloud Planning Solutions.Work visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:

Eight years of expereince working with in Oracle/SAP Logistics, WMS, order management, quality systems, or similar, with a proven track record of configuring and optimizing core Logistics and Quality in ERP/SAP/Cloud Planning SolutionsExperience as a functional owner of logistics or quality and a strong interest in leveraging technology to drive business resultsCertified Agile Product Owner or Manager is a plus (CSPO)Expertise in Project Management (Agile/Waterfall)
