We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of accounting standards and best practices for foreign currency valuation and translation functions. This role involves reviewing and evaluating configuration settings, chart of accounts, and current processes to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. The consultant will also design and execute functional audits, validate results, and issue comprehensive reports.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience with SAP FICO, particularly in foreign currency valuation and translation.Familiarity with ECC 6.0 EHP 3 and planning updates for EHP7.Experience with SAP modules such as FAGL_FC_VAL and FAGL_FC_TRANS.Strong understanding of accounting standards and best practices.Proficiency in reviewing and evaluating configuration settings and chart of accounts.Ability to document, evaluate, and report errors, gaps, and recommendations.Experience in designing and executing functional audits and test scenarios.Excellent communication skills for interviewing finance contacts and presenting findings.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with managing multiple currency pairs and exchange rate types.Knowledge of best practices for clearing intercompany payables and receivables.Ability to recommend and implement configuration and process changes.
