ResponsibilitiesOperates and manages storage and Virtual (VMware) infrastructureMonitor the estate and ensure proactive measures are taken to ensure high availability of servicesInstalls or removes hardware and/or software, and associated connections, using supplied installation instructions and tools.Uses system management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed system software maintenance tasks.Carries out agreed operational procedures, including network configuration, installation and maintenance.Uses network management tools to collect and report on network load and performance statistics.Contributes to the implementation of maintenance and installation work.Requirements

3 years of experienceMonitoring of a medium to large scale infrastructure environment.Ability to install, configure and maintain infrastructure systems and solutions to specification.Basic knowledge of one or more of the following products/solutions: Hypervisor - VMware vSphere, Storage - vSAN, Recovery Services - Veeam and Zerto, Platforms - Windows Server and Linux Red Hat, End User Compute - Citrix XenApp, Networking Fundamentals - Cisco Technologies (Switches, Firewalls or Routers), SD-WAN, Aruba Networks
