OverviewThe Dairy Queen Manager oversees all operations of the DQ restaurant connected to a Shell convenience store. Managers mainly work daytime shifts but must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Recruit, hire & train store personnelSchedule employees and manage labor budgetsReach financial targets; monitor P&LsMaintain exceptional customer serviceCreate a positive work environment for all team membersCoach, counsel, evaluate, and develop employeesCreate and submit daily reportsMaintain site appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation standardsImplement and maintain safety proceduresControl all cash and merchandise inventoriesEnsure full compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulationsOther duties as requiredBasic Qualifications and Physical Requirements
18+ years of age1+ years in restaurant managementHigh School Diploma or equivalentAuthorized to work in the United StatesValid Driver License and reliable transportationSafely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distancesStand and walk for 8+ consecutive hoursClimb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, crouch and bendAccurately select options from a register and touch screen monitorExcellent communication in English (hear, speak, read & write)Accurately take payment and count changeCount and weigh product; calculate basic mathBasic computer proficiencyMust pass a pre-employment drug screen
