Summary/objective
Assurance Senior Managers are responsible for the review and management of their assigned client work. They are also responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating workflow amongst the team. Senior Managers will assist associates, senior associates, and managers with technical and software issues. Senior Managers will communicate with clients regularly and build client relationships. Senior Managers will be proficient in research and be able to properly document and cite findings.

- Implementing project management and workflows methods for timeliness, accuracy, quality, and compliance, while committing to professional standards
- Act as a Subject Matter expert on issues related to ASC 740
- Building relationships with clients throughout the year; must possess a thorough knowledge of the client and all facets of client's business
- Maintaining familiarity with qualifications of all staff members and reviewing staff assignments for appropriateness.
- Monitoring time budgets
- Reviewing workpapers reports
- Anticipating problem areas and questions that will arise during the course of a project
- Collaborating with Partners to keep informed of all-important developments, analyzing problems and recommending solutions
- Ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with professional and Firm standards
- Communicating progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to client
- Developing responsible, trained staff by assisting in performance evaluations
- Contributing insights and innovative ideas based on hard and soft trends in clients' industry
- Recruiting top talent through team member advocacy by building your personal brand and communicating the firm's mission, vision and values
- Accepting responsibility for accuracy of data entry, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of what we do as an accounting and consulting Firm
- Promoting an environment of continual learning, by growing team's leadership and interpersonal skills
- Supervising Managers and providing on-the-job training for team members

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Required education and experience
- Normally five (5) to ten (10) years' experience in public accounting or consulting, demonstrating a progression in complexity, scope, and number of projects managed.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in an appropriate field is required.
- CPA License- must be a member in good standing with the AICPA and respective state societies
- Extensive ASC 740 Experience
- Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting software, or software appropriate to practice group.
Preferred education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to add new business to the firm.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
