The DCIO Platform Director leads the placement of MissionSquare funds on firm platforms and develops investment placement business plans focused on retaining and highlighting current placements and identifying new opportunities in partnership with other Revenue & Sales department team members.

The DCIO Platform Director leads the placement of MissionSquare funds on firm platforms and develops investment placement business plans focused on retaining and highlighting current placements and identifying new opportunities in partnership with other Revenue & Sales department team members.
Essential Functions for this role include:
- Coordinate with DCIO team leaders and DCIO sales to understand firms' business strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships, with a focus on firms' research leaders (Directors of Research, CIOs, and strategy analysts).
- Develop an investment placement business plan for each firm focused on retaining current placement and identifying new opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Initiate and negotiate all selling agreements.
- Understand and maintain a working knowledge of firm platforms and the investment manager evaluation process.
- Understand and effectively communicate all MissionSquare investment management and distribution capabilities to clients including appropriately managing the investment professional involvement in client meetings.
- Knowledgeable of capital markets/economic views, portfolio construction, portfolio-level activity, and the competitive landscape.
- Maintain consultant contact management and history via Salesforce.

If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Seven to ten years of experience
- MBA, CIMA, CPWM, CAIA, or CFA
- Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Experience in using research tools including Zephyr style advisor and Morningstar direct
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strong presentation skills
- A high degree of professionalism, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Demonstrated success in taking initiative and delivering immediate and independent action for problem-solving
- Commitment to a team-oriented environment and a willingness to openly share ideas.
- Direct experience calling on retirement platform managers as well as platform fund analysts.
- Retirement industry knowledge as well as experience with retirement platform distribution.
- Strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to establish strategic account reviews for Investment Only (IO) retirement platform clients.
- Extensive background and experience selling Mutual Funds, CIT's, and separate accounts to retirement plans as well as investment consultants.
