Senior Manager, Finance Partner

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $125,510.00 - $181,000.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $103,950.00 - $150,000.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora Foundation intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders across designated business units, serving as a trusted business and financial advisor and collaborating closely with stakeholders to address financial challenges and opportunities.
- Partners with business unit leaders to develop budgets and forecasts and ensure financial plans align with the overall strategic goals of the organization and provide guidance on resource allocation.
- Works closely with the Finance team to communicate business unit needs, understanding the ability to influence is critical given lack of direct oversight of Finance operations.
- Provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business development activities, including assessing the financial viability of proposed projects, programs or investments.
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, including evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and assessing the financial implications of various strategies.
- Identifies, assesses and mitigates financial risks, providing recommendations for risk management and contingency planning.
- Monitors key performance indicators and financial metrics to track the performance of designated business units.
- Facilitates accurate and timely financial reporting for designated business units, including preparation of management reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial performance.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and business partnering.
Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- 8+ years' experience in technology industry and working broadly across Finance functions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification is a plus.
- Experience with advanced financial modeling and strategic business planning
- Great communication skills, team player, self-motivated, critical thinker, agile and adept at change
- Innovative mindset and able to identify and improvements in execution
