Leidos is seeking an expert MS SharePoint systems administrator to support the NASA Langley Research Center's Center Operations Directorate (COD). The role is responsible for managing SharePoint sites, user access, and permissions. Configure and maintain SharePoint servers, troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and provide technical support. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, security, and optimization of SharePoint environments within the organization. Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures. Develops and maintains a comprehensive SharePoint software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.

Primary Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration to include:
• SharePoint site development and account management
• SharePoint Server management
• Troubleshoots complex issues and provides solutions using latest tools
• Ensures SharePoint sites are secure and oversees appropriate permissions are granted
• Provides training to sharepoint users to ensure that site usage are optimized through efficient design and organization

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Engineering or related field with 8-10 years of experience working in infrastructure operations
- Ability to obtain a NASA Public Trust clearance
- Creativity to imagine innovative, effective new solutions and designs.
- Expert knowledge in Sharepoint site design
- Must be able to effectively troubleshoot user issues and communicate with user community on how to use sites
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of MS SharePoint operations experience across multiple disciplines (OS, hypervisor, storage) with competent understanding of hybrid cloud service operations
- Advanced understanding of ITSM processes and experience with agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe using technologies like Jira or ServiceNow
- Advanced understanding of DevSecOps concepts and Site Reliability Engineering
