Job Description:

The Enterprise Data Strategy, Governance, & Operations team sets the tone and shapes the landscape for enterprise data management practices and focuses on all aspects of the data lifecycle alongside our Front Line Unit (FLU)/Control Function (CF) partners. The Data Policy Analyst role offers experience in a critical, high impact, and evolving area of the Enterprise. This role is responsible for providing support to the Data Policy Manager as it relates to enhancements to Policy requirements, updates to guidance materials and the management of the Enterprise policy, adherence and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing common process metrics, partnering with Data Policy Manager on FLU/CF engagement, and providing reporting on adherence
  • Solving problems and executing on key deliverables such as process/procedure/guidance documentation, training materials and facilitation by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge
  • Thinking critically and considering multiple perspectives to evolve internal processes with a lens towards operational excellence
  • Partnering with Standard leads on engagement with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on critical objectives and driving policy adherence
  • Partner and collaborating with centralized QA team, other policy owners, and offshore members to drive timely remediation of adherence gaps

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, risk/controls management, policy management or equivalent
  • Experience directly or indirectly supporting FLU/CF adherence to internal policies/standards and/or external laws, rules, regulations
  • Independently driven / self-motivated
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Experience in analytics, reporting, and developing presentations - strong skills including all Microsoft products
  • Experience in managing multiple and often competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving or actively participating in programs/projects
  • Demonstrated ability as a thought leader who can proactively drive change and process improvement
  • Ability to synthesize opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations
  • Understanding of Data Management requirements or other experience with regulatory requirements


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in data management policy and programs
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, analytical mindset and observation ability for thematic analysis and keen attention to detail
  • Previous Named Data Role experience preferred
