Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to bring product expertise to our International business. This role reports to the Vice President, Product & Technology, International for Hearst Magazines, parent of world-renowned magazine brands.
Hearst Magazines is the parent of world-renowned magazine brands, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Men's Health, ELLE, Oprah, Runner's World and Harpers BAZAAR, together with hundreds of brands and editorial teams who create content for close to 200 websites and apps around the world and hundreds of millions of monthly active users.
As Sr Product Manager, you will contribute to overall strategy while balancing the needs of varying delivery streams and country requirements across eight diverse global markets and business strategies. You solve complex business problems at the core of digital transformation in a world-leading media company. You combine strategic thinking, outstanding execution, and data-driven iteration - holding yourself and your teammates accountable for successful outcomes.
This position is based in New York City at Hearst Tower with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.

The base salary for this role is between $130k - 155K annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build momentum and alignment and shepherd product concepts through execution, measurement, validation, and adoption.
- Analyze and prioritize target customer, end-user, and internal stakeholder needs.
- Ensure appropriate customer research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping.
- Own overall metrics, including user engagement, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue. Utilize data-driven decision-making and self-service product analytics to tell compelling stories.
- Steward outstanding design and world-class customer experience across all properties, coordinating closely with senior leadership.
- Define and communicate a product roadmap aligned with company objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data, and competitive analysis.
- Document, validate, and prioritize product specifications within an Agile/SCRUM development environment.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in Digital/Mobile/Video product management, managing consumer-facing products or subscription businesses.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record in fast-paced, Agile environments; shipped successful products.
- Ability to multitask, handle multiple deliverables/projects, and meet deadlines.
- Highly collaborative across geographies, inspiring and overcoming barriers.
- Passion for digital media, social media, advertising, online commerce, and digital media trends.
- Extensive cross-functional and executive-level stakeholder management.
- Leadership: Responsible from inception to outcomes; aligning priorities, delivering, measuring outcomes, and building upon success.
