The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager (or CFO when needed) and will be instrumental as we grow our business in the US as well as grow our accounting and finance teams. [Job Description]
- Post transactions and categorize records assigned by the accounting manager in the general ledger.
- Issue invoices to customer, record sales, and contact customers for outstanding balances
- Prepare monthly cash reports
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Review monthly closing procedures and prepare an inventory report
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Prepare weekly and monthly P&L projection reports to Korea Headquarters
- Directly report to the Accounting Manager or CFO
- Perform other duties upon requests by supervisor
[Qualifications]
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of accounting experience
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
- Knowledge of the U.S GAAP
- Analytical skills and detail oriented
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confidentiality and integrity
- CPA license is a plus
- Bilingual in Korean and English language strongly preferred
