Job Summary
The IQGeo Enterprise Sales team is seeking a DevOps Engineer in our Denver, CO USA office or remote to support sales activity by providing technical expertise of systems and infrastructure. This role is internal and supports the Sales with demo and proof of concept needs. The role will be key in formulating and supporting processes for deployment of the software while keeping in line with best practices and internal standards.
Position located in downtown Denver, CO, with flexibility of hours, exceptional employee benefits, and possible career building experience with growth opportunities. Ideal for mid-level professional position with rapidly growing international tech company.

Duties/Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer supports the sales team to ensure smooth operations to meet the growing list of technical requirements for the platform product and new industry vertical applications by:
- Support and maintain containerization/orchestration
- Build and maintaining pipelines for new deployments
- Manage and track changes to infrastructure as code
- Work with other groups throughout the organization to ensure technical alignment and that best practice approaches as well as industry and internal standards are being used
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Essential
You must have all of the following:
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with infrastructure management tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, KubeCtl, ArgoCD, Rancher, and Helm
- Experience running systems both in public cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience using Git or other distributed version control systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
Ideally, you'll have some of the following:
- Knowledge of Node.js design and development
- Enterprise Integration especially web services
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with bug tracking tools, CI/CD tools, automation scripting languages, and code repositories
- Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mapping
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
