Business Overview:

Advisory Americas delivers corporate finance advisory services throughout the Americas (North and Latin America). The team includes over 80 bankers located in New York, San Francisco, Mexico City, Bogota, São Paulo, and Santiago de Chile.

Within Advisory North America, the team is organized along industry groups. The Healthcare group is a fast growing segment of BNPP Paribas' Investment Banking franchise with the ambition to grow across a strategic sub-sectors (MedTech, BioPharma, Healthcare Services, etc.)

Within Advisory Latin America, the team is organized geographically along four regions: Brazil, Mexico, Andean Region and Southern Cone. The team covers all industries.

Responsibilities:

The Advisory North America Healthcare team is focused on advising financial sponsors, strategic clients and international entities on a spectrum of Investment Banking transactions, including both private and public deals.

The Senior Associate or Vice President will primarily be focused on both M&A origination and execution efforts. With respect to the origination efforts, the Senior Associate or Vice President will manage the entire process of the preparation of origination materials (including writing industry themes, market updates and financial analyses) as well as assisting in presenting ideas in meetings. With respect to the execution efforts, the Senior Associate or Vice President will help manage the day-to-day operations of executing all aspects of an M&A transaction (i.e., preparation of information materials, conducting financial analyses, coordination with outside lawyers / accountants, assisting the team with client matters on a day-to-day basis, etc.) for both buy-side or a sell-side deal.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant M&A advisory experience in the Healthcare space, preferably from an investment bank, Corporate, or Private Equity
  • Significant M&A transaction experience, with a broad corporate finance skillset, in the Healthcare sector and direct experience assisting in the origination of M&A transactions
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Possesses industry-specific subject matter expertise in healthcare/life sciences
  • Ability to assist in the identification of cross-sell opportunities to fully penetrate BNPP products to clients
  • Global mindset to support cross-border Corporate Finance activity (i.e., referrals, origination and execution opportunities) across US, Europe and Asia
  • Exceptional client service skills, and superior people skills to ensure constructive dialogue and positive cooperation both internally and externally
  • Client-focused, deal-driven, credible, and a highly energetic professional
  • High level of intellect, professionalism, and integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or related advanced degree

The expected starting salary range for this position is $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
