The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Credit Risk team under Risk and Internal Audit Technology (RIAT) helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Within CRT the Strategic Enterprise Risk Technology team is seeking a Java Full Stack Senior Developer to be part of a team that provides reporting for Risk and Compliance across all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will:
  • Developing Application capabilities based on requirements
  • Adhere to team standards, processes, workflows and schedules.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated within technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Designs, codes, tests, Debugs, and documents programs using Agile development practices.
  • Partnering with Business system consultants on providing technical consultation on Business Reporting Requirements
  • Evaluate business requirements to provide feedback and estimates to complete work
  • Must be comfortable working on multiple, complex issues and projects.
  • Participate in production releases as required.


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of Hibernate experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of web development experience using Angular
  • 3+ years of experience in MicroServices development

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of applications related to web design and database design
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • 3+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
  • 2+ years of risk and finance regulatory reporting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours, as needed.
