Responsibilities
  • Own overall technical relationship with customers at pre-assigned accounts
  • Identify customer business and technical requirements for opportunities.
  • Develop proposals, high-level designs and Bill of Materials (BOM) base on validated design guide and best practices from respective OEM.
  • Participate in all internal sales meetings as the technical representative.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for all professional services activity
  • Participate in validating the strategy for responding to RFPs.
  • Obtain and maintain vendor certifications required to support Insight certification requirements or goals.
  • Report regularly to management on time spent, revenue, billable activities, and services.
  • Track opportunities being worked, preparing weekly report on revenue, gross profit, and services associated with the opportunity.


Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Enterprise and Data Center Networks.
  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience
  • Familiarity with one or more cloud providers - AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, wireless, firewall and load balancing.
  • Possess a solid understanding and have experience with network routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS.
  • EVPN Knowledge of Cisco or other OEM Networking products for Service Provider and Enterprise desired.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto and Fortinet desired.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Route & Switch, Wireless, Meraki platforms and their respective operating and management systems required.
  • Familiarity with at least one firewall platform and its respect operating and management systems - Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet or Juniper.
