Accounting Analyst

The primary objective of the Accounting Analyst is to assist the accounting department with accounting related IT projects and system enhancements, SEC reporting, and month end close, primarily focused on fixed assets and software capitalization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ad hoc duties and special projects including accounting systems maintenance, system implementations, and system enhancements
• Assist with preparation of SEC reporting tasks, including preparation of Form 10-Q, From 10-K and other SEC filings

Assist with month-end close procedures and processes including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the delivery of information to external auditors for SOX testing, quarterly reviews, and annual audits
• Maintain established accounting procedures and adequate internal controls to meet GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Exercise considerable latitude and judgment to resolve accounting matters with minimal supervision

CORE TRAITS/COMPETENCIES:
• Proficient in GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and SEC reporting
• High degree of responsibility and ownership
• Strong attention to detail and proven abilities in analysis and problem-solving
• Ability to work in a team environment providing in-depth analysis and recommendations using critical thinking and sound judgment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of DFIN ActiveDisclosure or similar SEC filing software preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP

Salary and Other Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $80-85k per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for annual incentive pay equal to 8% of annual regular pay, prorated in the first year, in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
