Seeking an ambitious and curious Associate Account Executive to pioneer software in biology.
The convergence of laboratory automation, high-throughput assays, and machine learning is moving the medium of biological discovery to silicon. At LatchBio, we are building the ubiquitous cloud platform to store, visualize and analyze data from biological experiments.
We are a team of 22 in San Francisco solving the data bottleneck in biology:
Our mission is to build and disseminate the data infrastructure platform of the biocomputing revolution. Today, this is a cloud platform for biotechs to upload, store, process, analyze, and visualize data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The AAE position is a specialized and impactful role - your mission is to build a system around predictable lead generation, a cornerstone to an effective sales machine. You will be our autonomous expert in finding market opportunities, executing outreach campaigns, and systematically booking meetings. Your day to day will consist of activities, metrics, and automation around this:

Position equity range
$150,000 - $450,000 USD (4-year vest with a 1-year cliff)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The AAE position is a specialized and impactful role - your mission is to build a system around predictable lead generation, a cornerstone to an effective sales machine. You will be our autonomous expert in finding market opportunities, executing outreach campaigns, and systematically booking meetings. Your day to day will consist of activities, metrics, and automation around this:
- Refine ICP alongside product and sales team.
- Orchestrate ABM campaigns personalized to ICPs.
- Write and refine messaging frequently based on outreach data.
- Navigate and nurture leads from introduction through an initial demo
- Book demos and conduct hot-handoffs to our AEs to close opportunities.
- Travel frequently to life sciences conferences around the world.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- >1 year experience in sales at a relevant company (i.e., early stage, life science, or cloud) OR exceptional hustle
- Scientific literacy, or even better, a background in sciences at school or work
- Evidence of exceptional performance at your prior jobs
- Ability to understand & communicate technical concepts plainly
- Desire to excel at sales
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday in-person in San Francisco
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Resumes screened by our EA, Emma
- 30 minute call with our CEO, Alfredo
- Quick take-home exercise, reviewed by the whole BD team
- 60-75 minute WHO interview with our COS, Jordan
- 3-day paid onsite period, overseen by our AAEs
