About the Role:

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Bedminster, NJ, reporting directly to the Global CFO. In this role, you will supervise a team responsible for Accounting and AR/Billing, while directly managing the Controlling function. You will provide financial advice and insights to support business leaders and ensure the accurate and timely submission of all required reports for our publicly traded company.

Work type: Recommended 1x per week physically in Bedminster, NJ office location

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and Lead Team Activities: Oversee daily finance operations, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and implement cross-training for staff. Set and monitor staff and departmental deadlines while providing mentoring and coaching as needed.
  • Manage Controlling, Forecasting and Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process, manage monthly financial forecasts, and conduct variance analysis. Work closely with department heads and the managing director to ensure accurate financial planning and performance management.
  • Support Business Decisions and Financial Discipline: Partner with divisional leaders to support decision-making processes, ensuring financial discipline across business lines, including cash flow management, cost control, and ad hoc financial support.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Group policies and local financial regulations, following relevant accounting standards.
  • Understand Legal and Tax Requirements: Gain knowledge of legal and tax registration requirements across various state jurisdictions.
  • Oversee Payroll and 401(k) Administration: Manage payroll processing activities and oversee the company's 401(k) Plan, including audits, compliance reporting, and 401(k) matching activities.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including 2+ years in Controlling or FP&A.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Commitment to quality, ethics, and compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
