with the ability to help develop world-class UI/UX concepts into a final product.Project Overview
This hands-on role requires a strong command of User Experience & Interaction Design, exceptional visual design skills as well as solid knowledge of best practices in designing web, app, cross-platform, and other enterprise design efforts. You must have a clear understanding of every facet of the design process that facilitates a superior shipped experience: interaction design, visual, brand integration, content creation, and strong planning & project management skills.Candidates must have strong visual sensibilities, deep interactive design knowledge, coupled with expertise in collaborating with interactive developers to launch engagement campaigns and cross-platform applications. Candidates must have proven experience in creating designs which appeal internationally to a gaming and entertainment-seeking audience. Any experience regarding sustainability is also a huge plus.Responsibilities
Designing innovative world-class interactive experiencesDrive highest quality design end-to-end, from pre-production and planning phases through to launch for all AAA design projectsUX Design, Interaction Design, UI Design, Visual design, development for multiple platforms and environments, including responsive designStrong command of responsive mobile, tablet, desktop, web & app design in addition to 10-foot / lean-back experience designTaking art direction from designer leadershipLayout, Composition, UI, UX, Information Architecture: Establish and direct composition, flow and visual/sensory framework of all AAA experiencesExcellent collaborative skills working closely with other Design Team members, Project Managers, Stakeholders, and LeadershipRequired Skills & Experience
Online Design portfolio of work samples, indicating details on your specific role and contributions for each project submitted in the portfolioAt least 1-2 years of experience with design or interactive media design in a formally managed creative atmosphere (interactive agency, design-centric product team etc.)Proven history of delivering world-class digital mediaExceptional design talents with stylistic breadthProven deep experience in digital interactive entertainment across both design and productionExperience of partnering with technical and non-technical designersAdvanced design skills, efficient prototyping, production, and optimization techniquesFull command of leading design software (Adobe Creative Cloud)Experience with Sketch (building and/or working with pattern libraries)Expertise in User Experience, Informational Architecture, User Flow design, Wireframing, Redlining, Spec Documentation, and general early prototyping / whiteboardingDemonstrated ability to both give and take art direction, feedback, and critiques effectivelyAbility to deliver a wide range of interactive assets, from interactive models, prototypes, concepts to high-quality production assetsAble to produce results independently as well as collaborativelyExperience partnering with interactive developers and other graphic designers is essentialKnowledge and experience with front-end web development best practices, production process and responsive development requirementsUX research, establishing user personas & user stories, documenting, and disseminating findingsExpertise creating visual design documents including visual style guidelinesStrong familiarity with creating, updating, and using pattern libraries & UI frameworksStrong organizational skills and attention to detail requiredExperience with training and evangelizing of processes, skills, documentation & best practicesAn understanding of animation and motion workAbility to show sketches, clear thought process & strategic decision making along the development of a projectProven capability for strong composition and design narrative throughout portfolio of workStrong communication skills including but not limited to communicate conceptual campaign work, beyond only good graphic designDesigner's aesthetic can hold up confidently to Xbox's AAA quality design aesthetic & modern design languageConfidence in presenting and communicating design work and its message to individuals and to larger groups of reviewersExcellent internal partner relationship skills, collaborative attitudePassionate, positive outlook, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environmentAbility to embrace and respond to constructive feedbackPreferred Experience:
