OverviewNoticeThis Notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification for the relevant job opportunity.Any person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer for the Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Foreign Labor Certification, 200 Constitution Avenue NW, Room N-5311, Washington, DC 20210.Position: Construction Planning Analytics DirectorCompany : Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., Boston, MAResponsibilitiesWill oversee Suffolk’s planning data analytics and support Suffolk’s planning team utilizing expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling, vertical construction planning, and project management.Collaborating with the planning team and multiple business units to support and implement high-quality, data-driven processes and tools.Will take the lead on all planning data analytics systems by developing the strategy for data capture and ensuring the vision of the department aligns with the company’s priorities.Duties Include:Develop the vision and strategy to improve construction management processes using enterprise data from project planning sources to create a database of historical production data and metrics for preparing estimates, proposal schedules, and verifying the feasibility of project schedules.Work with Suffolk’s Business Systems to maintain P6 Primavera Enterprise in Oracle Cloud, which includes managing the process for system protocols for all P6 users, automating the schedule update process with Suffolk’s internal and external stakeholders, and providing a job aid and training for all revisions to Suffolk’s current planning process.Work with Suffolk’s Business Systems to create and manage an automated reporting tool for planning metrics on active projects using the “Systems of Work” Monthly Variances.Create and manage a project planning dashboard with schedule analytics and visualizations for project stakeholders to review and identify early indicators of schedule risk on active projects.Develop and manage a process to streamline early identification of quality and schedule performance issues, risk assessment, and metrics using Acumen Fuse for checking the quality of baseline schedules, as well as develop and coordinate the process with the regional planning directors and managers using Acumen data with the Baseline Schedule Checklist.Estimating System (Cost Lab) exports into a proposal schedule, which includes working with Preconstruction Manager to map the data and coding from P6 to estimating accounts in Cost Lab to produce a basic proposal schedule and coordinating the process, SOP, and training for the proposal schedule to import into P6.Oversee the governance of P6 data to ensure that construction project management data is consistently accurate across the following components: exception report and process to correct duplicates and errors in project IDs; process to clean Global Calendars & Global Codes; consistent definitions and usage of the Global Codes; and standardized EPS and OBS for better P6 data governance.Streamline planning processes to obtain better outcomes for improved project performance and implement process improvement for Procurement management in P6 using construction project management data from Procure.Coordinate the development of a sustainable technical solution for short-term planning and vet current tools on the market to suit Suffolk’s operational and construction needs, improving data draws of historical P6 data and current Quick Schedule tool, overseeing the process for piloting 4D, machine learning, and AI tools.Occasional travel to regional construction sites may be required up to 10% on an annual basis.Telecommuting may be permitted 1 day per week.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsA bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or a closely related field.Five years of progressive experience managing and preparing construction project management schedules utilizing Primavera P6 Project Management Enterprise Scheduling Software and other construction project management suites.Additional:Occupation may require national travel up to 10% on an annual basis, with approximated frequency of once per month not exceeding 1-5 days at a time.Basic pay ranges from one hundred seventy thousand dollars to two hundred forty-two thousand dollars per year for full-time employment and standard company benefits.Application InstructionsQualified applicants should mail resumes to Scott McCullough, Senior Manager, People & Culture at Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., 65 Allerton Street, Boston, MA 02119, or email at smccullough@suffolk.com.Reference Job Code#: JM24SC.NOTE: This posting is in compliance with the filing of an Application for Labor Certification.Applicants should report directly to the employer, and not the local State Employment Service Office.Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time;
