DescriptionPosition: Sitecore EngineerType: ContractorOverview :Amgen is seeking an experienced Sitecore Engineer with a strong background in Sitecore development and a thorough understanding of the Sitecore platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing Sitecore-based digital solutions while adhering to best practices. This role involves working on high-impact projects, creating scalable web applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Sitecore XP and ASP.NET MVC.Utilize SXA (Sitecore Experience Accelerator) or JSS (JavaScript Services) to ensure efficient and optimized development on the Sitecore platform.Apply Sitecore Helix Framework to structure and manage the development process effectively.Leverage Glass Mapper for efficient data model management and mapping within Sitecore.Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth integration within the Sitecore ecosystem.Perform Sitecore configuration and customization to meet specific business requirements.Develop global reusable components, ensuring modularity and scalability in Sitecore applications.Implement Sitecore best practices to drive optimization, scalability, and efficiency in web solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored Sitecore solutions.Stay current with the latest Sitecore updates and features, and apply them to ongoing projects.Ensure continuous improvement of the Sitecore platform by implementing minor enhancements and configuration changes.RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Proven experience as a Sitecore Developer, with hands-on expertise in Sitecore XP, ASP.NET MVC, SXA, and JSS.Strong familiarity with the Sitecore Helix Framework and expertise in using Glass Mapper for data modeling.Solid background in RESTful API design and integration within the Sitecore ecosystem.Deep understanding of web development, content management systems, and digital marketing solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in global reusable component development within Sitecore.Knowledge of Sitecore optimization techniques and best practices for improving performance and scalability.Familiarity with digital marketing tools and systems integrated with Sitecore.
