Job SummaryThe Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws and state regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the department, provide guidance in employee relations, and drive initiatives in benefits administration, conflict management, and safety regulations.Duties

Supervise the HR department and ensure effective execution of HR policies and procedures and confidentiality.Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support organizational objectives.Oversee benefits administration, ensuring competitive offerings that attract and retain talent and other employee programs.Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with DHSS regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.Responsible for Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1, and VETS-100 reporting. Director will serve as the EEO Officer for the agency.Act as a resource for employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.Provide data analysis for State reporting to the Fiscal Department. Responsible for unemployment processes.Collaborate with leadership to develop contract negotiations and workforce planning strategies.Lead training initiatives to enhance employee skills in Relias online training and present staff training on various topics.Skills

Strong supervisory skills with experience in leading HR teams effectively.In-depth knowledge of employment labor law and OSHA regulations.Proficient in benefits administration with a focus on employee satisfaction.Excellent conflict management abilities to resolve workplace issues amicably.Strong employee relations skills to foster a collaborative work environment.Advanced data analysis skills for informed decision-making processes.Experience working in a non-profit environment is desired.This position requires a proactive leader who is committed to enhancing the employee experience while driving organizational success through effective human resource practices.Job Type:
