The Brand Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies to drive business growth and enhance market presence. This position will shape our brand’s identity, positioning it effectively in the market, and visually communicating its values and messages through compelling design. Additionally, the Brand Strategist collaborates with the marketing team to create and ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.Essential Functions:Promote and represent the brand through various channels, including events, social media, and in-person interactions.Serve as a brand expert for external and internal events, tradeshows, and meetings.Co-develop and execute creative marketing campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message.Create visually appealing graphics, including social media posts, banners, flyers, and promotional materials.Manage the Sprague Storefront that includes uniforms, swag, promotional items, operational collateral, etc.Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand assets, including logos, taglines, etc.Engage with customers and followers on social media platforms, responding to inquiries and fostering positive relationships.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media efforts and provide insights for improvements.Manage Sprague’s internal resource center (The Hive) and Sprague website for design and functionality.Establish brand guidelines and ensure all company stakeholders are educated and adhere to them.Manage cross-functional project teams to execute brand initiatives effectively.Foster relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and external agencies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.3-5 years experience as a Brand Ambassador or similar role, with a strong portfolio of graphic design work.Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.Passion for design and staying current with industry trends.Knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in communications.Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent time management skills.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to stakeholders and influence decision making.Ability and aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in a business environment.Ability to pass background screening requirements, including identity, education, credit, and criminal history checks.
