Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Washington Heights NYWe are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice part time (2 days per week) in Washington Heights NY. The PA-C / NP will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may also work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. Experience in all areas of medicine a plus but may specialize in an area such as pain management. Our ideal provider demonstrates a strong attention to detail, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a great bedside manner, and is competent in their clinical skills.

Duties:Evaluate, manage, and coordinate patient careProvide continuity of patient carePatient consultation- See new and follow up with major medical patients, Physical exam, and take social/medical historiesOrder and review tests/diagnosticsDocument encounterCreate treatment plansPrescribe medicationHealth promotion and maintenanceAssist practice physician when neededCollaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programPA-C/NP licensed to practice in NYClinical skills in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation knowledge a plusBLS certificationRecent grads welcomeCompensation:$65-$75/hr (DOE)Schedule:Part time (2 days per week, 8 hr days)We are looking for a compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner that can effectively communicate with patients, who enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
